Boats For Rent in Delaware near Ocean City, MD
Every year, we purchase a fleet of brand-new Berkshire pontoons. This year once again we've stepped up the quality even more by bringing in a fleet of tri-toons. These are pontoons with an extra center tube. This offers more stability, greater capacity, and better handling. We do not use stripped-down rental models in the fleet. Our tri-toons are luxurious models with 115HP Mercury® motors, compared to the basic 60-90hp models the competition uses.
On the sport boat side; every year we bring in a brand new Scarab® jet boat, and this year we have TWO brand new ones! These are the Scarab 195 model which each sporting a wakeboard tower for 2023 and a 300HP Rotax® motor! This will offer a great combination of speed, excitement, and water sports!
For the fisherman out there, we are proud to carry over the new Wellcraft 202 Fisherman center console. These boats offer the perfect bay fishing platform for anglers looking to reel in some rockfish, flounder, croaker, or other fish. With live wells, fish finders, 150HP Mercury® motors, and fishing packages available, the only thing you'll need to drink is some sunscreen!

Pontoon/Tri-toon Boats
Island Watersports offers the largest selection of rental pontoon boats on the Delmarva Peninsula, including brand-new Berkshire models. All of our boats are top quality to ensure you are comfortable while on the water. With a pontoon rental, you get a relaxing vessel with room for groups of up to 12 people (depending on weight). These boats are great to swim off of, fish & crab, as well as just riding to that nice secluded beach to get away from the summer commotion! Our pontoon boats also have Maryland fishing licenses. We are the only business in the area to have weekly pontoon boat rentals for those with waterfront homes. Returning this season, we have added brand new 2023 Berkshire tri-toons to the fleet. These types of pontoons offer a smooth ride and larger capacity, as each tri-toon is equipped with a Mercury 115 motor. Book in advance to reserve our new premium 2023 boats!

Center Consoles - Outboard
Island Watersports has the largest rental center consoles on the island. Our Wellcraft 20ft boats will hold 4-6 people and are equipped for those looking to reel in some fish. Center consoles have a smooth-riding hull offering a dry and comfortable ride out to your favorite spot, as well as enough power to get you there quickly leaving enough time to fish. These boats also house a live well and multiple fish wells to store your catches and bait. Island Watersports has fishing poles for rent and sale, as well as all the bait and tackle you may need for your vacation. All of our center consoles have Maryland fishing licenses. Seating is limited, as these are fishing machines. For comfort for families, we also offer fishing tri-toons for 2023!

Scarab® Jet Boats - Watersports Equipped
Island Watersports is the only Maryland/Delaware business to offer Scarab jet boats for rent. Our jet boats are perfect for watersports, as well as offering the thrill of speed and great handling. These types of boats do NOT have a propeller, like many other speed boats. This means that our boats are the SAFEST for those renters with kids. The boats have plenty of power to pull your friends and family on one of our tow tubes, wakeboards, wake surfboards, water skis, or kneeboards. Boats range in size to meet the needs of every customer and allow for seating for up to 8 people or 1,325 pounds! Jet boats are capable of running up to 45 mph. For watersports, we suggest no more than 5 people on the jet boats, which will leave extra power for tow sports.

Fishing Skiffs
Island Watersports is now offering small fishing skiffs. These skiffs are great for small groups to get on the water to fish, crab, and clam. These models have a very shallow draft allowing you to go places most boats can not. Skiffs are also our most affordable boat to rent, letting you get on the water for less than a night out to dinner would cost. Our skiffs have Maryland & Delaware fishing licenses.

Extras
Tow tubes, wakeboards, wake surfers, water skis, and kneeboards are available to add to any jet boat rental.
Fishing poles and nets are available to add to any pontoon or fishing boat rental.
Coolers are available for any boat rental.
Propeller Insurance is offered and highly recommended due to the shallow waters.
*All extras are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All drivers must be 21 years of age and be able to present a valid, government-issued, photo ID at the time of rental. If you are born after July 1st, 1972 you need a valid boater's certificate to drive, if you do not have one, we can issue a temporary one prior to your rental at no additional cost. We also suggest customers take a boater's safety course prior to renting. Courses are available online at https://www.boat-ed.com/maryland/.
Life vests are provided for use with all rentals free of charge.
Reservations can be made via credit card over the phone at any time and for any date but will be subject to a $75.00 no-show or late cancellation charge. Cancellations must be made no less than 48 hours prior to reservation time to avoid penalty charges. You may rebook one time per reservation. Exceptions may be handled via the manager.
